The Japan Blockchain Association (JBA) is an industry organization established to foster the sound and sustainable development of blockchain technology and to promote industrial growth in the Web3 era.

JBA's membership includes a diverse range of stakeholders such as cryptocurrency exchanges, wallet service providers, Web3 startups, financial institutions, law firms, and academic institutions. Through policy advocacy, regulatory engagement, educational initiatives, and awareness-building activities, JBA contributes to the advancement of Japan’s blockchain ecosystem.

The organization also actively engages in dialogues both within and beyond the industry and participates in the development of international technical standards and rule-making processes.

We are proud to announce that our CTO/CIO, Shinya Tsuchida, has been appointed to the JBA board. Shinya has played a critical role in building the technical foundations for Web3 businesses through his expertise in staking operations, validator infrastructure, and decentralized infrastructure design and management.

His pragmatic approach to design and his commitment to building stable operational systems have helped drive the growth of Web3-related businesses both in Japan and internationally.

As a JBA board member, Tsuchida will continue to promote cross-sector collaboration and contribute to the development of globally-oriented and sustainable technical foundations for the Web3 society.
